        Now days D G Shipping making all documentations online. All process like certificate application, renew, profile updates, document updates on seafarer profile. All is available online. But with this new advantage some disadvantage also comes forward which can create problems for seafarer, so we need to take care of few things which can help us to keep secure our seafarer profile.


        Many of seafarer are not able to update seafarer profile their own. So, they took agents help to update profile or any other relevant work. For that agent charge some amount and make work easy for seafarer. But we forget that the time when we want to apply some document or certificate we need to share our login id and password with agent. With that agent can hack your account and create problem for you in the future.


        Now what agent does after knowing your login id and password he can easily change your password. And also, he can change your link email id and phone number. Because of that, the seafarer not able to access seafarer profile. also, can’t use forget password option because email id and phone number also gets changed by agent.


        After facing this problem again seafarer will go to the same agent with login problem. And to solve this problem agent will demand much more amount. And he creates new password and login id and gives it to respective seafarer. Once profile gets open with new login id and password seafarer will pay to agent as he told before.


         This kind of scams spreading now days. To avoid this please try to do online updates and application your own. Now a day’s all information’s are available on net or on YouTube please refer to those information and try to do your own. And you will get reply on it.  And do not share your login id and password with others.


         If someone already had this hacking problem with profile or not able to open your seafarer Profile with your login id and password then you can send mail to D G Shipping and do complaint about it. And solve your problem. And try to do your own. PLEASE SAY NO TO AGENTS.
