identification card and that is CDC ( continuous discharge certificate). But we

HOW TO
APPLY SID ONLINE FULL PROCEDURE

Use
Mozilla Firefox web browser

Search
for SID
·
Then
click on first tab BSID LOG IN
·
Login
with INDOS number, and password same INDOS number followed by one (e.g 11GL23261)

On
the next page full procedure given in one side and on other side login tab is
given. Read all the points.

Then
click on apply for SID option
·
One
the next page automatically all the information gets filled up of respective
seafarer. Check all information and click on continue option
·
On
next page some information need to provide by seafarer. Also some information
are automatically gets filed up check it properly. and click on continue
·
Then
on next page need to fill up details like address, state, and phone number and
click on continue option.

Next
page need to give will find some question about CDC, SID, and PASSPORT. Just
need to click yes or no. and click on continue option.

Next
page is a declaration form. Below of it click on I agree to the declaration
option and submit.

Then
cross verify all the details which you have entered. Check all details and
click on submit option. ( After clicking okay sometimes it again goes to
declaration form do the same process until it shows your complete application )

And
the end the final application form will generate need to take a print of it.

Now
application form completed. Now need to do payment of 300 rupees for the
application to DG Shipping.

Now
again to the fist page from where we start application for SID. On that page
find Make Payment option. An click on it.

And
make your payment with net banking or debit card or credit card.

After
completing the payment you will get page with success notification on top . its
confirmation of successfully payment has done.

Then
again go to the schedule appointment option

Then
need to choose the appointment center whichever is closer to you. Choose the
same. Like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai

Then
you will get appointment for next 15 days. So you can choose which date is
suitable for you. Also it is possible to change the date 3 time without any
extra charges. After 3 time need to pay extra changes.

Then
take a print out of acknowledgment. One the first page you will find print
acknowledgment option click on it. And make a print of it

Make
sure for the appointment need to carry all print out and original passport and
CDC. And make sure that date of birth and place of birth is same in all
documents.

Also
you can check application status. If you want to reschedule your appointment
click on cancel appointment and reschedule the date and MMD. It can be done
three time.

Then
logout from the page simply.

Then
go to the MMD on given date with required documents and complete procedure.
After completion of all procedure you will get a receipt of it.

card will be send to your given address by post.
