                   DNS OR BSC in nautical science

 

Education

1.    12^th science pass

2.    60% plus in PCM

3.    50% In English subject

4.    IMU CET exam need to clear.

1.    Passport

2.    All mark sheet

3.    IMU CET exam passing result

 

Medical fitness

1.    Eye side should be 6*6

2.    No color blindness

 

Required Education for joining merchant navy after 12^th

1.    DNS  (1 Year Diploma) 

         Or

2.    BSC in Nautical science (3 Year Degree)

 

DNS (Diploma in Nautical Science)

 

1.   Age 17 year

2.   Class 12^th pass out

3.   IMU CET exam pass

4.   1 year Diploma (DNS)

5.   5 to 8 Lakhs expense

6.   Better to take sponsorship from company before admission.  (Job Security)   

7.   After diploma need 18month on board sea service (on ship)

8.   After 18 month experience can give further exam of 2^nd mate

7.    After Degree need 12 month on board sea service (on ship)

8.    After 12 month experience can give further exam on 2^nd mate
